Karin Yamasaki is a twenty-five-year-old self-taught creative growing up in her oddly pieced together world. Karin grew up in Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland, New Zealand, surrounded by many different creatives which allowed her to experiment and grow.

She covers different mediums of art but mainly focuses on film and graphic design, exploring the little worlds that are contained in each of us. Her work often portrays past emotions, the sensation of longing, personal change and frustration, creating a timeline of personal growth and self-discovery. 

Karin has recently moved to Naarm, Melbourne, Australia.

Karin has a diploma in Web and Graphic Design from Yoobee College of Creative Innovation, and has completed two years at Auckland University in a Bachelor of Technology in Communication Design.
